A step-by-step guide to painting, tearing, and layering rich, textured art — no fine art degree required.
Price goes to $57 Thursday at midnight.
The Question I Kept Getting
Since mid-July, something shifted — my social media following jumped from about 2,000 to over 17,000, and one message started showing up again and again:
"Can't wait to sign up for this class!" — Stacy S.
"Looking forward to the class! I signed up!" — Daria P.
More than 300 people are already on the waitlist. This workshop is my answer to all of them.
You Asked, Here’s Every Answer
Every time I post one of these pieces, the same questions show up: "What medium do you use? What's that rubber thing? Do you paint your own paper? How do you get those tiny details?"
This workshop answers every single one — start to finish, no guessing.
If you've tried paper art before and ended up with muddy colors, torn edges in the wrong place, or buckled paper after gluing — this is the class that fixes that. You don't need years of training. You need the exact steps, in order, shown clearly.
In this workshop, I walk you through mixing custom palettes, painting rich background washes, tearing with intention, and assembling two finished, display-ready paper paintings — from a blank sheet to a framed piece on your wall.
Technique You Can Use Again and Again
Painting bases, custom skies, wet-paint texture, tearing for clean vs. deckled edges, layering, adhesive application without buckling, fine detail work, and framing — the entire process, broken into small, doable steps.
Master Custom Color & Texture Mix rich sky palettes (including a moonlit night sky), custom neutrals, and believable earth tones — then add the tactile depth that makes these pieces feel alive.
Finish Two Real, Framed Pieces You won't just watch — you can complete a 4x4 mini ocean painting AND a larger piece on cradled wood board, then learn how to frame and finish other sizes for the wall.

Your questions, answered.
What medium do you actually use? Covered in Module 1 — full breakdown of paints, papers, gel mediums, and tools, with budget-friendly swaps.
What's that rubber roller thing? That's a brayer, and yes, you’ll get a chance to see my use it.
Do you paint your own papers, or buy them pre-made? I paint my own base sheets from scratch — Module 2 walks through five custom sky techniques and adding interesting textures to wet watercolor washes so you can do the same.
How do you get such clean torn edges? Module 3 covers grain direction, tearing for a white deckled edge vs. a clean edge, and how I pre-arrange a piece before any glue touches it.
Does the paper buckle when you glue it down? Not if you do it right — Module 4 shows the exact adhesive process (Liquitex Matte Gel Medium) I use.
How do you add the tiny details — foam, stars, birds? Module 4 also covers fine detail work with Posca markers, Pitt pens, gel pens, and Bleedproof White.
How do I frame a finished piece? Module 5 covers mounting minis in shadowboxes, framing larger cradled board pieces, and finishing for lightfastness and permanence.
